Did slow and steady (and a strong Q4) win the race?

Even with its sideways performance for three-quarters of the year, 2024 proved slow and steady and a strong Q4 finale wins the race. With low deal volume dragging on for two years, it did not feel like 2024 would outpace 2023 on the ground, but coming off the worst year in 10+ years, we will take 6.6% yearly growth in contract activity as a win. In the first two weeks of 2025, we are optimistic with 316 signed contracts already. We have experienced more buyers jumping into the market and actually making offers both firsthand and amongst the brokerage community.
